Signup separates optional SMS notices from phone verification

Account signup treats SMS notification consent as a separate choice from phone verification, so a security step is not presented as agreement to ongoing texts.

Nevada real-estate agents, instructors, and school users can create a Lurnor account without agreeing to receive ongoing SMS notifications. Phone verification can still be used when it is needed for account security, but optional text-message notices require their own consent.

A separate choice for text notices

SMS notification consent is explicit, optional, and reversible. Users can decide whether to receive text-message outreach during signup, without losing the ability to complete phone verification for account security when that verification is needed.

The related Terms and Privacy language follows the same separation. Phone verification is described apart from optional SMS notices, and the legal pages explain how users can opt out or request help by text.

Phone-number language for SMS notices

The updated legal pages also clarify how phone numbers are handled for SMS notification purposes. That keeps the account form and the legal language aligned around the same choice: phone verification may support account security, while ongoing SMS notifications are optional and can be reversed.

The public account experience gives agents, instructors, and school users a direct consent path for text-message outreach without bundling that consent into account security verification.
